The pros and cons of running your own business.

先週のonline英検クラスの英作文。pros and consというお題で書くのは初めて。

2分という制限のなかで、賛成意見と反対意見を述べてから自分の意見をまとめるというのはなかなか難しい。結論をサポートするのに十分な意見ではないけれども、制限時間を考えるとそれぞれ1個ずつでしょうか。

もし自分の結論が～に反対、というのであれば最初に賛成案、次に反対案を述べて、結論に反対案を述べる、自分の結論が～に賛成というのであれば、その反対の順番で意見を述べるのが良いそうです。

Running one’s own business is a big issue for everyone because it has both positive and negative aspects. Some people  think it is risky, and others might think it is a fascinating experience. I think running my own business is risky and I would rather choose working for  a company. I’ll explain why I think this way.  The positive aspect of running my own business is that I can decide how long I spend time for how much time I spend on my business. Women’s  work style styles will change can be changed according  to  their lifestyle lifestyles, so it will would be good to be an entrepreneur, as . As they can decide their working style by themselves. The time management will be  easier.   The negative aspect of running my own business is that I have to pay money to start my business  at first. Since I can’t predict whether my new business will be good or bad, to  invest my precious money and time will be risky. I’ve heard the statistics  that 8 out of every 10 new businesses will  fail in their first 5  years. Considering these statistics, my  precious money will be at stake when I fail.   In conclusion, I prefer working for a company to start starting a new business. I am a risk-averse person when it comes  to business. I’ll I would try if I knew my  business will would go well in the future,  but it is impossible to predict. I think it’s better for me not to start my a new business.

これでタイトルを含めて246字、読み上げるとちょうど2分でした。自分の意見をきちんと表明するには物足りない感じです。

hypothetical situation のwouldを間違えて全部willにしてしまいました　気をつけていないと非常にしばしば間違えます。残念！
